Wavy Hair- Ford Models

So Ford Models beat me to a video on wavy hair. I have been doing this trick for years ever since my friend showed me at a bachelorette party. But I use a regular ole 3/4 inch curling iron. I wonder how that curling iron differs from mine? The one she uses is the Enzo Milano Curling Iron. Looks like the 19MM. I might have to get it just cause it looks faster.. if anyone has this one give us a review!! :) And where you bought it from too! Here is my photo from the last time I did the wavy hair style, can't really see much of it, but its not flat on my head :)

i just found out about your site from searching "how to do a pouf" on google... i know people tell you this all the time but honestly you are a great teacher and so easy to learn from. i have been searching on how to do hair in such a classy & stylish way... and then i find out that you have all these other videos too! and not only that but you're from SD! yay!! so thank you SO much and keep on doing what you're doing cause you're helping so many people!!! ♥

I really like that heat resistant glove she used. I like how she holds the ends against the iron with the glove instead of going through the pain of trying to get the ends to stay in the curling iron.

I enjoy your tutorials. But, I wish you came up with new videos and tips. Lately all you do is link us to existing YouTube videos and Sale websites. Please come up with a tutorial. We are eagerly waiting for it!

I actually just bought this curling iron - the 25mm (1 inch barrel) NIB w/ glove- from ebay for 19.99, S&H 8.99 after seeing this video haha. Anxiously waiting for it to come..it's $149.95 off the Enzo Milano website so it seems too good to be true that I got it for such a low price. Hopefully it's authentic. This curling iron is clipless so no kinks..and I think it's pretty versatile (waves, ribbon curls, spiral curls)..will let you know how it works out =)

how'd you do your make up in that pic??

*raises hand* i have the enzo milano 25m. i bought it at Pure Beauty. i LOVE it. and you know me and that "kink" i always manage to get with regular clip curling irons. i don't use the glove, it's a pain in the a**, i just hold on to the tips of my hair around the iron. after you roll your hair around the wand, you just slide it out effortlessly and you get a cute spiral curl.

i have the 25 mm one, and it is really good! it heats up pretty quick and you don't really need to hold the curl for 20-30 seconds like the video says, 10-15 is all it takes. it's great for the "wavy hair" look. highly recommended and ebay has them for 30 bucks shipped

Kerastase is the greatest! I went to the Ryan Thomas studio off SCH and my hair stylist did some hair conditioning with their products & it's definitely orgasmic for the hair >_<

I have the Enzo Milano. It is a really good iron. I just have really thick hair (that's also super straight cuz i'm asian) and i have to hold the iron in for longer. It is a really good iron, but it's hard to use on your own because you have to use both hands to do the back. i bought this with the straightener (i know i have straight hair but still wanted a straightener...what? i use it to curl my hair!) and got the "package deal" which was cheaper (but still over $200)

Is it better to use this curling iron or a flat iron? I've looked on youtube under summer waves and they use a flat iron to create the wavy look and it seems just as easy. Just wondering which is best???

I haven't felt the need to buy a curling iron thus far since I've purchased my chi flat iron but after seeing this video...I want one!! =0( You are a bad influence. =0( I love your tips! Anyway, I looked around and found some on Ebay. I don't know if it's authentic or anything but it's pretty neat just having a curling iron without the clip thingy for once. Asontv.com has it for about $50 so...no clue here which place is trustworthy when the one on the website is over $100.

Hmm..After checking again on ebay and the other cheaper websites...I noticed that where the cord meets the handle, it is different from the one on Enzo's website and the one in the video so I've concluded that they are probably a knockoff of the real thing. Just letting you know. =0)

I love doing this to my hair (unfortunately I cut my long hair off due to PMS so now Im growing it out), a stylist showed me this trick about a year ago and Ive been doing it ever since. I use just a regular 3/4 in curling iron and also you can use even thinner or thicker. The thin and the thick give a different look, try it out!

the "enzo milano" curling irons on ebay are fakes...the little tail that comes out of end that the cord is attached to is not on the fake ones from ebay so u can tell that it's not the same iron. your best bet is to order from enzomilano.com...i would rather buy something autentic that costs a little more, rather than buy something that wont live up to the name.

i'm sorry but i just don't like your hairstyle and eyeshadow in this post. i just don't think it fits you. your other looks were better done.

After watching this video and reading some of the comments here, I just had to pick up one of these on ebay and see if it worked. I bought it before the comments were posted about the ones on ebay being fake so I have no idea if the one I got is real or not but I just tried it this morning and it worked brilliantly. It was a little tricky doing the back part of my hair but the front looks just like it does in that video. I've been trying to do my hair in those waves for months now and after buying 3 other curling irons, I've finally found the one that does the trick! Thanks so much for posting the tip and anyone who's thinking about buying it on ebay, even if it turns out to be a fake, it works well and for $30 it's a good deal to try it out!
